The Smokin’ Lizards are a pub and club covers band based in North Essex playing a high energy, no nonsense style of music, aimed at capturing the feel and atmosphere of the bands and numbers we cover rather than making tribute copies.
The band members are all experienced musicians having played pub, club and function gigs across the country since the late 70s.
The music covered is linked by gritty lyrics and the punchy sounds picked from the late 60s rock up to the current day, via a trip through, punk, new wave and alternative rock.
